Using social media to recruit the future of bespoke curtain design employees

Objective

One of the largest bespoke curtain and blind specialists asked us to use our social media marketing expertise to drive a broad range of national job roles, including Advisors, Fitters, Design consultants, contact centre & head office roles.

Strategy

Crucially, we made sure end-to-end tracking was put in place with the client. We then ran consistent A/B tests across multiple platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn optimising initially towards the lowest cost per application and later towards lowest cost per successful application, utilising UTM parameters to track source of origin.

As always, we utilised constant creative optimisation and testing to avoid ad fatigue whilst understanding the key triggers for application.

Results

Between January - May 2021 our social ads: 

  • Drove 1,203 applications from quality candidates

  • Were successful that the budgets with increased 9x from month 1 to month 3

  • Resulted in social media being the number 1 performing digital marketing channel.
